A solid cypress instrument with low action and fitted golpe plates makes this an ideal instrument for players requiring a brighter or flamenco type of tone. It is a cutaway electro with the excellent Fishman Prefix Pro Blend electronics that incorporates both an Acoustic Matrix pick up underneath the saddle in the bridge and microphone inside the body. These can be balanced. The sound is bright with an excellent tone. Volume is a little less, due to the decrease in body depth, but the tone is fine and electronically the possibilty of feedback is reduced.
