The House of Ramirez has for many years (since 1882!) constructed the finest quality classical instruments played by many of the world's top recitalists including the legendary Andres Segovia, Narciso Yepes, Julian Bream, Xuefei Yang, Alexandre Lagoya, Christopher Parkening, Kazuhito Yamashita, Liona Boyd, Laurindo Almeida, Alirio Diaz, Jose Luis Gonzales, Antonio Lauro, Oscar Ghiglia......
The completely original condition of this superb guitar is quite astonishing for an instrument of over 25 years old. There are no cracks or repairs and just a few really insignificant marks to the bodywork. There is no fret wear or any perceptible signs that the instrument was played much by its previous owner.
Most unusually for this period the scale length is only 650mm, typical for a modern Ramirez but not at all for one of this era - the scale was usually 664mm in the 80s and before.
This is a very powerful guitar with immense volume and great clarity. Response is quick and separation is very good. The tone has a wide range of expressive colour with mellowness and warmth but is still surprisingly lively.
A world-class Ramirez concert guitar in almost as new condition at a very reasonable price.
