Almansa Classical Guitars
Sort: Price High to Low | Price Low to High
Based in Alicante, in South-East Spain, and established in 1989, Almansa construct guitars in the Madrid School style, recruiting and training local luthiers to a high level of craftsmanship. The result is an instrument with a lively, rounded tone and exceptionally good volume. All Almansa instruments have solid soundboards, and spruce is available, as an alternative to cedar, with some models.
The construction standard of Almansa guitars is excellent, with a consistently reliable quality, and their range is often recommended by teachers to their students. Almansas are a very popular choice with visiting customers too, offering a range from a more modest-priced beginner level - such as the Almansa 401- to those models suitable for advanced players, such as the 461.
Almansa also cater for guitarists looking for something a little different, be this a Flamenco or an Electro-classical. A recent addition is the Almansa CS-CW range, a contemporary-styled electro-classical available in three different options. They have a low string height and a fingerboard that is narrower and lightly cambered.

Customer Testimonials
What can I say? The guitar has arrived and is everything I expected it to be. Really it is hard to imagine how these guitars can be improved on but no doubt they do. Maybe next year I'll go in for his double top, it must be awesome! Thanks again.
