Jose Ramirez 1a 66.4 Tradicional Cedar/Indian 1982

£4,800.00

The House of Ramirez has for many years (since 1882!) constructed the finest quality classical instruments played by many of the world’s top recitalists. The sound of this second-hand example is characteristic of a really fine mature long-scale Ramirez 1a: simultaneously warm and clear, it has a punchy bass, a well-rounded treble, excellent balance and is rich in expressive possibilities. The volume and projection are profound.

This instrument has clearly been very carefully cared for. Its condition is absolutely marvellous, especially for a guitar that is now  approaching its 4th decade; the few small, insignificant marks need a very close eye indeed to spot, and there is no lacquer crazing or polish wear anywhere.
