This Ramirez flamenco is unusual in featuring a cedar, rather than spruce top. It also differs from the FL2 in having a slightly deeper body and a longer scale – 66 cm. These differences may account for the tone being perhaps a little warmer and more rounded, but the quick response and punchy separation of this instrument is very much that of a flamenco.
