Marco Tejeda is the son-in-law of Teodoro Perez, and in keeping with the Spanish artisan tradition, having started as an assistant to Teodoro, now builds instruments in the Perez workshop as a master luthier in his own right. This is one of them; drawing from the refined Perez aesthetic, he introduces some of his own creative character to his work.

In keeping with the Perez workshop’s ethos, this is a very meticulously-constructed instrument with an elegant appearance and concert-level musical qualities. The tone is warm, smooth and responsive, with good separation.
